Position Summary
The Director at NFP Insurance Solutions plays a critical role in driving business growth through direct client engagement, fostering relationships with trusted advisors, and delivering customized life insurance solutions. This role is ideal for professionals with 4-5 years of insurance/financial services experience, or transitioning from similar industries, with a passion for learning and a desire to take their practice to the next level by developing expertise in life insurance and wealth preservation strategies for the ultra-high net worth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and nurture relationships with advisors and ultra-high-net-worth clients, serving as a trusted resource to uncover and implement tailored life insurance strategies.

Build knowledge in life insurance products, estate planning techniques, and tax-efficient solutions to identify and drive new business opportunities.

Expand the firm’s reach by identifying opportunities for client engagement, establishing strategic partnerships, and creating a strong presence within financial and estate planning communities.

Lead impactful meetings and presentations for clients, advisors, and industry partners to enhance relationships and support business development efforts.

Collaborate with internal case design, underwriting, and service teams to deliver customized strategies, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication with clients and advisors.

Qualifications

Active life insurance license required (or willingness to obtain within a defined time frame).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, financial services, or a related field, with a strong interest in transitioning into the life insurance industry.

Ability to work directly with high-net-worth individuals and their trusted advisors.

Basic understanding of life insurance products and planning strategies.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative approach to client interactions.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.

Ability to work independently and manage complex client relationships.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., JD, CPA, CLU, CFP, CFA, CPWA) preferred.
