About the Event

One of the rewards of a successful career is an easy retirement. Retirement is the act of converting your hard-earned assets into a sustainable income stream. This raises several considerations: How will that income be taxed? What happens when you run into a choppy market? What if sudden healthcare expenses derail your cost-of-living plans? Will you leave anything to your kids and grandkids?

Join NFP Insurance Solutions Managing Director and Northwestern University Lecturer Jacob L. Hartz for an impactful lunch session on leveraging retirement assets to maximize your future peace of mind. This session will explore key factors such as the tax implications of retirement income, strategies for managing market volatility, and effective estate planning for leaving a legacy to future generations.

Lunch will be provided.

About Jacob:

Jacob takes an educational approach to advising successful families on matters of long-term financial security and estate planning. A Chicago native, he earned his J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law in New York City. After law school, he did investment research for a single-family office in Highland Park. Jacob began his advisory practice at Lenox Advisors, a holistic financial planning firm owned by NFP, before becoming a Managing Director at NFP Insurance Solutions. There, he helps clients optimize their financial and estate planning strategies with tax-advantaged financial security solutions. He also teaches Insurance Planning at Northwestern University’s CFP certification program. When he’s not with clients or family, you can find Jacob on a tennis or pickleball court.
